One of the most popular features of the new Disney Treasure cruise ship is Haunted Mansion Parlor.
This is one of those places that just doesn’t disappoint. You will find this amazingly themed bar on Disney Treasures’ sister ship Disney Destiny as well.

Make sure that you visit The Haunted Mansion Parlor and make time to look around and take in all of the features. Not only is the decor amazing, but you will find some amazing Servers here too. Some of them really do get into the Haunted Mansion role, just like the ride!
This is a very popular bar on Disney Treasure. But do not let this put you off. There are some very busy times (such as between dinner servings) but I have managed many times to enjoy some time there when it isn’t crowded.
If you arrive and it is busy, just keep trying. It is worth it.
THE BACKSTORY AND DECOR

One thing that we know is that the Disney Imagineers are the masters of creating a wholly immersive environment and transporting us to other worlds and dimensions.
Haunted Mansion Parlor is a fascinating blend of the beloved elements of the park attraction with a new, nautical, back story.
And of course some amazing new cocktails.

The Haunted Mansion Parlor story pays tribute to the ride, but there is a “new” backstory, that was inspired by ideas for the original ride.
The new story revolves around a jovial sea captain and his strange, but captivating fiancé. Guests are invited to solve the clues around the bar which explain the sudden and mysterious disappearance of the happy couple.
Here is a wonderful example of how the Imagineers have used a creative concept from the past and incorporated it into the design of the new Disney Treasure bar.

When the original Haunted Mansion attraction was being created at Disneyland prior to its opening in 1969, legendary Imagineer Rally Crump proposed a creative concept for a “Museum of the Weird” exhibit.

Whilst this never came to fruition, many of his ideas for the museum were incorporated into the design of the original Haunted Mansion.
A number of his ideas and concepts have been kept in the Disney vault.
And now, more than 50 years later, one of his drawings has been used to inspire the current Imagineers to create a modern “Aquarium with Ghost Fish” for the Haunted Mansion Parlor.
